This Sunday Set List is being blogged in conjunction with theSunday Set List Blog Carnival over at FredMcKinnon.com.
We did “Turn your eyes upon Jesus” this week also! People really responded to it, I could really hear the congregation sing out on it.
That’s awesome! Familiarity of a song will get the congregation off the screens and into actually worshipping rather than reading. This is precisely why I limit the amount of new stuff we do to a couple of songs a month. Our church sure does respond in a much more worshipful way to the stuff they know well.
