This Sunday Set List is blogged in conjunction with the Sunday Setlist Blog Carnival over at FredMcKinnon.com.
Today was a tremendous time of worship at our church. There was a sweet, sweet feeling throughout the service. The Holy Spirit was working on and ministering to all of us this morning.
We started off with the song “Blessed”, by Hillsong. Our choir blasted out the first verse with just a little kick drum and keys, just like the “Aussies” do it. 😉 Then the band came in real big and our worship team came in nicely on a clever little hidden key change down by the band. It was really nice.
We flowed seamlessly into our next song, “Mighty To Save”. This is a very strong song for our group, and a church favorite. Most definitely one of our “Go-to” songs at Daybreak.
The leader of our worship band, Jason Lee, put together a RAD medley, which came next! It was “You Are Good”, “It Is Well”, and “Above All”. Below are the chord charts and structure of how we did it, in case any of you are interested:

Great set list!! Blessed is one of my favorite Hillsong albums, as well as the song itself. Mighty To Save, too, of course!
I love that you use a choir. We still have a “worship” choir and I love the extra help on the platform.
The environment of worship a team can make when there are 50 vocals on the stage….love it.
