Today was amazing! Our Pastor called for our church to come back to one service on Sundays until further notice. He said he felt the Lord leading him to get everyone together in the same service this year. We haven’t had people leave or lose any membership, or anything like that. It’s just something he felt called to do. And wow was it ever amazing! Our sanctuary was at full capacity! The energy in that room was absolutely amazing. I was speechless afterwards! I am so thankful that I have a Pastor who listens to God. It was SO evident that this was ordered by the Lord.
I hope you all experienced God in a mighty way today! Thanks for stopping by to read my Sunday Set List!
In His Service,
Wayne
Love your mix. Jesus, Messiah is a BIG favourite with me at the moment. Constantly in my head. Often I include it in a set and pray that it would be in the heads of the congregation all week. Such a glorifying-God song.
You had two BIG songs in Mighty to Save and How Great – did you mix them up a bit or keep them separate?
Great setlist how many songs do you usually do on a sunday?
Love, love love Jesus Messiah!
Mighty to save is also one of our favorites!
How Great is our God is classic!
Great set!
Love, love love Jesus Messiah!

Great set!
@Louise – Thanks, Louise! We made HGIOG and MTS a medley. We put them in the same key and right after the first chorus on HGIOG we started into the chorus on MTS. It flowed really well! At the end we came back into HGIOG and pulled all the stops out to finish. Big worship time at our church!
Thanks for stopping by!

@Johnny Sierra – How’s it going, Johnny? We normally have a 30 minute set, including choir, special music and scripture and prayer by our pastor. That normally gives us room to do 3 or 4 songs as a team, 1 song for choir, and 1 song for special. So that’s a total of 5 or 6 songs.
Hope that helps!

@Stephanie Oltmans – Hi Stephanie. You know what? Jesus Messiah wasn’t my favorite song at first. In fact, I almost petitioned against it in the beginning! NOW, I can’t get it out of my head, and I love it! Our church really responds to it too.
Thanks!
