CHOIR – Hark The Herald Angels Sing/Angels We Have Heard On High
What Child Is This
The First Noel
When I Speak Your Name
Our church, as you can see, is in the full swing of Christmas. However, I must admit that I am glad this Sunday was the last of the Christmas carols. I love Christmas, don’t get me wrong. But a full month of those start to grate on me by the end of December.
We lost our electric guitarist and our drummer, a brother and sister who moved out of town. So I am back to multi-tasking between leading worship with LeAnn and playing drums on the songs we just can’t do without them… which will be most songs! If I may, I would like to ask for your prayers about this. Please pray for God to fill our needs in the band.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Blessings from the Thomas/Daybreak family!

Prayers definitely ascending re the band…I know those issues very well, and God has always provided.
Wayne, I echo your comments on Christmas Music. My pet peeve here is that I want to always have songs that balance the singing about with singing to God – and Christmas shoudln’t be any different. Song selection is getting better laterly in this area – praise GOD!
I will pray for your band shortage. I can say with confidence that God provides – for the first time I can remember, we have three drummers in our reotation and at least one in the wings! God does provide!
Merry Christmas!
